| Ask Mr. D - On FFAs
Dear Mr. D,
I have been busy promoting my web site by submitting ads to a
lot of the FFA sites around the Internet.
I have learned that you need to submit to a lot these site to
get very much traffic, and you have to resubmit often.
Another thing I have notice. Most of the FFA sites I have
visited offer you a FFA page of your own. Most are free, but
some of them have a paid version that charge you a monthly fee.
My question is, how does owning one of these FFA pages benefit
you? And if there is some benefit, what is the advantage of
signing up for the paid version as opposed to just taking the
free page?
Signed,
Just Wondering

Dear Just Wondering,
Having your own FFA (free for all) page can be a great
advertising tool. In fact, it is two advertising tools in one.
The first tool is you can drive traffic to your site by offering
free advertising. This is a powerful draw if it is marketed
right.
The second tool is it enables you to email everyone who submits
their ad on your FFA page. FFA sites are setup to automatically
email the advertiser a thank you email and you, as the site
owner can include an ad of your own in this email.
The paid versions of these FFA sites allow you to email not only
the advertisers that submit their ads from your page, but to all
of the advertisers that submit ads from all the FFA pages in
that network. This can amount to thousands of emails with your
ad going out everyday.
Are the paid versions worth the money? You have to decide.
